Preparing for the Juvederm Procedure
Before the treatment, you’ll have a consultation with Dr. Greenberg. You’ll discuss your goals, medical history, allergies, and any medications you’re taking. Our staff will assess your facial anatomy and determine if Juvederm in Charlotte is suitable for you.
To manage any possible pain during treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied. Some Juvederm products also contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to enhance your comfort during the procedure.
During Injections for Juvederm
A Juvederm treatment session typically takes about 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated and the amount of filler used. Injections are typically quick and precise, using a fine needle to inject Juvederm into the target area(s).
Throughout the procedure, the provider will assess the results to ensure symmetry and natural-looking outcomes. Multiple procedures may be necessary to achieve your desired results.
